My new artwork is creating free form shapes from hard woods, letting the observer follow the shapes as light envelopes each curve.  These shapes may be uncommon to the observer, and at the same time evoke familiar recollections of feelings from everyday life. ~Jerry Stanton

Lynnette “Lani” Brouwer began painting with Kim Falk 12 years ago.  In watercolor Lani has primarily explored larger-than-life renditions of the natural—flowers, trees, fruits on the vine.  Recently she ventured into mixed media and acrylics and is producing abstract and non-objective art in that medium.  Regardless the media Lani loves color, employing vivid contrasts and bold presentation.  Her latest creations include functional and wearable art in the form of non-objective acrylic on canvas, sewn into tote bags and shoulder purses.  Lani is a member of Arts Coming Together and has displayed in several of ACT’s shows, as well as at the Mabel Tainter Theatre and the Chippewa Spring Art show.  This summer she sold her bags and paintings at the Stockholm Art Fair.  Lani has also taught painting classes in Menomonie and Eau Claire.

:: Laurie Olson Vessels of Clay Pottery

LO

A potter for 15 year and a nature lover for a lifetime,  I enjoy
incorporating  "natural treasures" such as leaves and flowers into my clay
vessels, making each one unique.  I strive to make work that people can
reflect with; bring you back to that walk in the woods with your morning
coffee, the colors of the leaves with your first bowl of chili on a brisk
fall day or remembering the flower gardens during a  winter snowfall.

Relax, Reflect...
                                                Breath. ~Laurie Olson

are the symphony of existence, storytellers all, exploring the nuances of
life through all ages.  Join us in our quest.  We are the visionaries
