This 2009 Artist Tour features Seven Studios with numerous guest artists representing an unparalleled range of talents and disciplines.
Hundreds of original works of art will be on display and for sale, including many new pieces premiering at this show. Works include pottery & ceramics, paintings, fine jewelry and glass etching, metal sculpture, photography, decorative gourds, handcrafted wood and bronze sculpture, original illustrations and limited edition and giclee prints.
Ensuring attendees have a simple and enjoyable experience, the nine studios feature numerous artists' work on display in every studio, with demonstrations running each day.
Each year since 1999 The Dunn County Artists take a new view on art opening their studios and galleries for three days to meet them, their student mentors and featured guest artists to showcase their works, ask questions, talk about the tools, preparation and materials used in creating their art medium.
Each studio is about 5-10 minutes away from one another with local eateries nearby to conveniently enjoy a meal between studios.
The Dunn County Artist Tour can make a great day drive for couples, families or friends from all over to tour or an unexpected weekend getaway in our beautiful Chippewa Valley. Just 45 minutes from Hudson, discover this celebration of the arts in and around beautiful Menomonie, WI.
Dunn County is located approximately 60 miles east of the Twin Cities metro area,
just off Interstate 94 at Menomonie Exit 41.
